Remember That We Are Tumbleweeds
REMEMBER THAT WE ARE TUMBLEWEEDS
Oh the many tumbleweeds that run
The lands
But cannot seem to grab a hand.
Rolling by the perfect streets
Of people of faces and feets.
Repeating like a croak,
You may never understand what I broke.
Nevermind the things you see
That makes your beats rise up with me.
Remember that we are tumbleweeds.
See for yourself your deeds and lusts,
Until now you do not trust.
Your many tears I have seen
But I know they were never keen.
Realise that we are tumbleweeds.
It is easy to mistake a dark spot for water,
They litter everywhere but does it matter?
Yes! For only a cactus can grow here, not you,
The one who needs the moisture.
Recall that we are tumbleweeds.
So roll along, pass me by
And home on an oasis
For that is where you can blossom.
I too will roll, for miles I do not know,
But He who drives the wind will lead me to my ocean.
So please I beg,
Understand that we are tumbleweeds.
